  • Live OMMA license verification

    Pick a medical patient and GreenPOS checks the license against the OMMA portal on the spot. The result and the time it was verified are saved on the customer's record.

  • Expired and inactive licenses stop the sale

    If a license has expired, or OMMA shows it as not active, the sale of regulated items is blocked. Only a manager or admin can approve it, with their PIN and a reason, and every approval is listed on the Compliance page under Overrides.

  • Purchase limits enforced per transaction

    Category limits are checked on every cart before checkout, with Oklahoma's per-transaction limits as the defaults. Over the limit means the sale can't finish until the cart is reduced. There is no override.

  • Scan an ID or OMMA card

    Scan a driver's license to fill in a new customer, or scan an OMMA card to find the patient, even when the number is typed with dashes or spaces.

GreenPOS connects to Oklahoma's Metrc through the Metrc API v2, using your store's own user key.

    Every sale reports to Metrc as it's rung up. Staff can add their own Metrc key so the sales they ring up go to Metrc under their name.

    A sale Metrc doesn't accept is listed under Failed Transactions with Metrc's reason, and resent automatically at the nightly sync and the daytime checks at 10 AM, 2 PM, 6 PM and 10 PM.

  • Nightly inventory check

    Every night GreenPOS compares your packages with Metrc, with a full comparison of every package every other night, and reports quantity, unit and missing-package differences.

  • Lab results and holds respected

    Packages that haven't passed lab testing in Metrc, or are on a Metrc hold, are blocked at the register. Managers get a compliance alert when a package in stock is put on hold or loses its lab pass.

  • Check Permissions

    One button tests your Metrc key against each area (inventory, incoming transfers, sales receipts, item catalog, lab results) and tells you exactly which one is locked out.
